J. C. Charyk School

J.C. Charyk Hanna School is a public school for students kindergarten through grade twelve operating in the town of Hanna, Alberta. We currently have almost 450 students. The school is named after famous Canadian author, educational historian, former principal, and past Hanna resident, John Constantine Charyk. We offer many extra-curricular activities such as sports and fine arts for our students. J.C. Charyk Hanna School is a trail blazer in provincial educational practices such as credit recovery options, tutorial programming, and formative assessment for our students.
